Ed's Plant Shop is a florist in Brooklyn, New York. It is listed at 174 Bogart St, Brooklyn, NY 11206, which places it among the local businesses of Brooklyn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Florists and flower businesses are close neighbors of garden centers, and many nurseries run a florist counter of their own. Retail florists build arrangements to order and deliver locally, floral designers work by appointment for weddings and events, flower markets and wholesalers sell loose stems and bunches, and flower farms grow seasonal blooms such as dahlias, peonies, tulips and sunflowers, sold by the bucket, by subscription or as pick-your-own. Ordering from the shop directly usually means more flowers for the money than going through a national website.
Hours have not been published for this listing yet. Most businesses of this type in Brooklyn keep standard business hours, but call ahead to be sure, especially on weekends and holidays. Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Brooklyn peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Buyer beware. I purchased two plants here two months ago, and they never arrived. I contacted the shop three separate times and got no response. They werenโt super expensive or high end plants, but I am still out the money it seems. This place had a nice looking website, and good reviews, so I decided to give them a try. The same evening I purchased these plants, I also ordered plants from three other reputable online plant shops, of which all orders have long been fulfilled, except this one. The first time I reached out to the shop after not hearing anything from them after placing my order, they didnโt respond to me directly, but they sent me a separate email that said my shipment was โon the wayโ with a UPS tracking number. When you click on the tracking number, it says UPS hasnโt received any packages with this number. That was a month ago. I have since emailed twice more and gotten absolutely 0 response. With all the positive reviews, and such a nice website I have trouble believing Iโm being scammed, and I understand with the nature of this industry that sometimes plant orders can take a while, but Iโm not sure what to think after this. Itโs been two months with no communi

I just had to come and write a review. Nothing but positive things to say. Let me tell you! This is now my third experience ordering plants online in the past 4-6 weeks and I wish that I had made my previous two orders with Ed's Plant Shop NYC. I found out about Ed's Plant Shop via Tiktok, a fellow plant lover was singing their praises. Her purchases were lovely, healthy and the service seemed of a high standard. Despite two horrible experiences from so-called highly regarded, I just had to give them a try. Third time's the charm!!! Originally, I wanted to purchase the Philodendron subscription so I reached out to the Shop for info. Ms. Zoya was courteous, helpful and her response gave the information I sought. Instead of the subscription box, I decided on two plants from my wish list - The Philo Birkin is of such excellent quality; no ugly damage like others. And, the Begonia Maculata - OMG!! My plants arrived in a timely fashion and the quality *chef's kiss* At some point soon I will fulfil that Philodendron box! Keep it up!

UPDATE: Ed's Plant shop reached out and offered several different options to make up for the disappointment with my order. I let them know there was no need, and I would clean up the damage and baby the plants as needed (and they still sent me a gift card to make up for it). I truly appreciate the communication and willingness to work with me to make things right. Was excited to receive the two plants I ordered, and was disappointed in the condition they arrived in. I unboxed them to find damaged/broken and wilted leaves.

Beautiful plants, thoughtfully packed! I ordered 4 plants from Edโs Plant Shop on May 9th and received them on May 17th here in Georgiaโright within their 5-8 day shipping window. The packaging was super secure and eco-friendly, using paper and padding to keep each plant safe and snug. You can really tell they took care with it. Like with any plant shipment, a little stress from the travel and packaging is totally normal, but all four arrived in great conditionโhealthy, vibrant, and already bouncing back after a short rest. They were clearly well cared for before making the journey. If youโre okay with a bit of a wait and want plants that arrive happy and healthy, Iโd absolutely recommend Edโs Plant Shop in Brooklyn. Iโm already thinking about what I want to order next!
